- House with one bathroom, pipe ≤ 1": the 3000 is technically sufficient.
- Family home, two bathrooms or more, 1" to 2" incoming main: take the 5000. Two showers, a dishwasher and a garden tap running at once quickly exceed 3,000 l/h, and an undersized unit treats water poorly at peak flow.
The observed price gap between the two models (around €300) is small against a 25-year warranty: if your case is borderline, the 5000 premium is a reasonable safety margin — especially if you are planning an extension or an extra shower room.
Apartment blocks and commercial sites: neither 3000 nor 5000, but the S range
